The season kicks off with The Capulets and the Montagues on the 29th of September followed by Salome the 27th of October. Two evening of dance dedicated to two outstanding figures of the 20th century will be broadcast in 2023: George Balanchine on March 7 and Maurice Béjart on May 25. The French repertoire of the 19th century will be one of the highlight of the season featuring Amboise Thomas' Hamlet on the 30th of March and Charles Gounod's Romeo and Juliet on the 26 of June.
That programme is coupled with two operas: La Vie parisienne filmed at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées from December 8 and Tosca at the Dutch National Opera from January 26.
