Together with Rigoletto and La Traviata, Il Trovatore is part of what is commonly known as Verdi’s "popular trilogy". Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov are the stars of the Franco Zeffirelli production of Verdi’s masterpiece at the Arena di Verona for the 97th Opera Festival. One of the most acclaimed and widely-recognized sopranos in the world today makes her debut at the world’s largest open-air theatre.
